an instant sunday.

Sunday, April 1 marks the first instant sunday on Pictured.  Every Sunday (at least thats the plan) I will be sharing images that I have taken with some of my instant cameras.  This image was in an art show I had a couple months ago with my husband,  St. Monci.  You will see a lot of color on this blog because I think that just may be my biggest inspiration.  xoxo Enjoy!

a pictured lifestyle.

So I am changing things up a bit...I am going to start blogging more and you will not only see more pictures but it will be more lifestyle driven.  I will posting thrifting finds, tuesdays with gubee, recipes (in addition to hello, scrumptious.) and more!   I am so excited to share with you a little more of my life.

Sometimes its the simplest of things that make me smile.  These $8 flowers from the Pittsford Wegmans did just that.  They have brightened up my week, I hope they brighten yours. xoxo Enjoy!

So I had the priveledge of shooting yet another dinner art party at the yards this past weekend.  These are always so much fun to shoot!  Each dinner is a completely different and inspiring experience and this one was no different.  From great food, a fun atmosphere, beautiful photos on the wall (by the talented jonathan rutherford) and a giant geodesic dome in the center of the room, it was very hard not to have a good time.  Here xoxo Enjoy!

i heart nancy drew.

So this is a project I have thought about for a longgg time.  Nancy Drew books were some of my favorite as kid and I have wanted to put this love into some art.  This will be an on going series where I will portray Nancy Drew in a different light each time.  Enjoy and let me know if you are of fan of the books too!

This past week Michael and I were fortunate enough to take a trip to El Paso, Texas.  We were given the opportunity to photograph his cousin Lauren's wedding.  It was my first time in El Paso and first time meeting a lot of Michael's family and I couldn't help but fall in love with all of them.

 Lauren and Joel's wedding was perfect, everything from her wedding dress, to the lovely sunset we captured.  A big thank you to the Howes family for letting us be a part of this special day.  Here are a couple images of the 2200 that we shot.  Enjoy!!

On Sunday, Michael and I were cordially invited to attend a dinner held at The Yards. When I walked in I was so excited to start shooting, burlap, mason jars, typewriters... It felt like a dream!
