i heart nancy drew.

So this is a project I have thought about for a longgg time.  Nancy Drew books were some of my favorite as kid and I have wanted to put this love into some art.  This will be an on going series where I will portray Nancy Drew in a different light each time.  Enjoy and let me know if you are of fan of the books too!

This past week Michael and I were fortunate enough to take a trip to El Paso, Texas.  We were given the opportunity to photograph his cousin Lauren's wedding.  It was my first time in El Paso and first time meeting a lot of Michael's family and I couldn't help but fall in love with all of them.

 Lauren and Joel's wedding was perfect, everything from her wedding dress, to the lovely sunset we captured.  A big thank you to the Howes family for letting us be a part of this special day.  Here are a couple images of the 2200 that we shot.  Enjoy!!

Yesterday, I attended the second installment of Gezellig at The Yards.  What a magical night with new art to see and yummy vegetarian food to eat.  The artists were Caitlin Yarksy (art) and Nick from Natural Oasis (food).  Both were delicious!  To see more from this night, check out The Yards facebook page.  Enjoy!

Since early this summer, my sisters and I have been working on a very exciting project called hello, scrumptious.  It is a collaboration of 3 sisters with a focus in each of our chosen art forms.  Check out hello, scrumptious today!

On Sunday, Michael and I were cordially invited to attend a dinner held at The Yards. When I walked in I was so excited to start shooting, burlap, mason jars, typewriters... It felt like a dream! It brought me back to the planning of our wedding last year, *sigh*. Please enjoy some of what I captured and please stay tuned for more from The Yards.
